After an exhausting, mind numbingly disappointing day, I realized something. I want to design and create more than anything else. I studied design in college. I've poured over books and blogs. I've spent the years rescuing and collecting dressers, desks, and lamps in need of love. I've dreamed of creating beautiful things. There is only one thing I've neglected.

Action.

Until this evening that is. I am going to devote the rest of my 23rd year to exciting my imagination, bringing my dreams to fruition, crafting treasures, and learning as much as I can about the art of renovation. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. I am about to be alive.
